Problem

On the same set of axes, consider the graphs of y=x2y = x^{2} and y=x+2y = x + 2. (i) Prepare a table of at least seven integer xx-values from −3-3 to 33 and the corresponding yy-values for y=x2y = x^{2}, then plot the curve. (ii) Draw the straight line y=x+2y = x + 2 on the same axes. (iii) From the resulting figure, write the coordinates of all intersection point(s) of the two graphs. (iv) Verify algebraically that each point of intersection satisfies both equations.
