Problem

For an angle α\alpha, it is given that cos⁡α=−32\cos \alpha = -\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2} and π<α<3π2\pi < \alpha < \dfrac{3\pi}{2}. (i) Find sin⁡α\sin \alpha. (ii) Find tan⁡α\tan \alpha. (iii) Evaluate the expression 2sin⁡α−3cos⁡α2\sin \alpha - 3\cos \alpha in its simplest form.
