Problem

Three identical carts A, B and C (mass = 2.0 kg each) move along a straight, frictionless track. During separate intervals of 0.20 s, their velocities change as follows: A: from +3 m s⁻¹ to –1 m s⁻¹ B: from +3 m s⁻¹ to +1 m s⁻¹ C: from +3 m s⁻¹ to 0 m s⁻¹ Ignoring external forces outside these intervals, arrange the magnitudes of the impulses on the carts in descending order (greatest to least).
