Problem

A light beam has wavelength 650 nm650\,\text{nm} in air. On entering medium AA its wavelength becomes 500 nm500\,\text{nm} and after subsequently entering medium BB it is reduced to 400 nm400\,\text{nm}. Calculate: (i) the refractive index of medium AA with respect to air (ii) the refractive index of medium BB with respect to air (iii) the refractive index of medium BB with respect to medium AA
