Problem

Three simple pendulums P, Q and R are set up in the same laboratory (identical local value of gg). (i) Pendulum P has length 0.90 m0.90\,\text{m} and time period TPT_P. Pendulum Q has a time period 20%20\% greater than P. Calculate the length of Q. (ii) Pendulum R oscillates with a frequency 1.51.5 times that of Q. Determine the length of R. (iii) Hence obtain the ratios LP:LQ:LRL_P : L_Q : L_R and TP:TQ:TRT_P : T_Q : T_R, expressing each ratio in its simplest integer form.
