Problem
A rectangular card has the word "HELP" printed in bold capital letters on its front face. The card is held 25cm in front of a plane mirror so that the word is parallel to the mirror surface.
(i) Draw a neat, labelled sketch to show how the word will appear in the mirror.
(ii) Identify any one letter in the word that appears unchanged in the mirror image and state why this happens.
(iii) A digital clock placed beside the mirror shows the time 12:05. Write the time that would be read by an observer looking at its image in the mirror.
