Problem

A student notes the equality 1−cos⁡θsin⁡θ=sin⁡θ1+cos⁡θ\dfrac{1-\cos\theta}{\sin\theta}=\dfrac{\sin\theta}{1+\cos\theta}. (a) Using the standard trigonometric table values, calculate each side separately for θ=30∘\theta=30^\circ correct to four decimal places and verify that the equality holds. (b) Repeat the verification for θ=60∘\theta=60^\circ using the same accuracy. Show your working clearly in each case.
