Problem

Let kk be a real parameter. Consider the inequality (k−3)x>9(k-3)x>9. (i) Solve the inequality for xx when k−3>0k-3>0. (ii) Solve the inequality for xx when k−3<0k-3<0. (iii) Determine all real values of kk for which the solution set of (k−3)x>9(k-3)x>9 is contained entirely within the interval (2,∞)(2,\infty).
