A student receives pocket money every month. In January, February and March the amounts are Rs 500, Rs 550 and Rs 600 respectively.
(i) Determine whether the monthly amounts form an arithmetic progression, a geometric progression or neither.
(ii) If the amounts constitute a progression, find the corresponding common difference or common ratio.
(iii) Calculate the amount the student will receive in the 12th month.
(iv) Find the total pocket money received in the first 12 months.
