The van moves in the following sequence: (a) 3.2 km3.2\,\text{km} east to point AA (b) 1.4 km1.4\,\text{km} west to point BB (c) 2.6 km2.6\,\text{km} east to point CC (d) 0.8 km0.8\,\text{km} west to point DD (i) Calculate the total distance covered by the van up to point DD. (ii) Determine the net displacement of the van from point OO to point DD. (iii) Find the ratio of the distance obtained in (i) to the magnitude of the displacement obtained in (ii).
