Problem

A drone takes off from the origin of an xx–yy coordinate system. It flies 400 m400\,\text{m} at an angle of 30∘30^{\circ} north of east, then immediately changes course and flies 250 m250\,\text{m} due west before hovering. Determine the magnitude and direction (angle measured counter-clockwise from the +x+x axis) of the drone’s net displacement relative to its starting point.
