Problem

A highly rigid cubical block AA of small mass MM and side LL is fixed rigidly on to another cubical block BB of the same dimensions and of low modulus of rigidity η\eta such that the lower face of AA completely covers the upper face of BB. The lower face of BB is rigidly held on a horizontal surface. A small force FF is applied perpendicular to one of the sides faces of AA. After the force is withdrawn, block AA executes small oscillations the time period of which is given by (1) 2πMηL2\pi\sqrt{M\eta L} (2) 2πMηL2\pi\sqrt{\frac{M\eta}{L}} (3) 2πMLη2\pi\sqrt{\frac{ML}{\eta}} (4) 2πMηL2\pi\sqrt{\frac{M}{\eta L}}
