Problem

Let Q(−3,4)Q(-3,4) be a point on the Cartesian plane. (i) Plot the point QQ and state the quadrant in which it lies. (ii) Reflect QQ in the xx-axis to obtain the point Q1Q_1. Write the coordinates of Q1Q_1 and plot it. (iii) Reflect QQ in the yy-axis to obtain the point Q2Q_2. Write the coordinates of Q2Q_2. (iv) Reflect QQ in the origin to obtain the point Q3Q_3. Write the coordinates of Q3Q_3. (v) Compare the abscissae and ordinates of Q, Q1, Q2Q,\,Q_1,\,Q_2 and Q3Q_3, and state the relationships you observe.
