Problem

A circular siren of radius 0.25 m0.25\,\text{m} spins counter-clockwise at a constant 120 rev min−1120\,\text{rev}\,\text{min}^{-1} while simultaneously translating due east at 2.0 m s−12.0\,\text{m}\,\text{s}^{-1}. A stationary listener stands far to the east on the axis of translation. At what two angular positions (measured from the forward-facing radius, 0∘0^{\circ} in the direction of translation) will a point on the rim of the siren produce no Doppler frequency shift for the listener? Give the angles to the nearest degree.
