Problem

During a laboratory investigation, the length of a simple pendulum is measured as 0.650 ± 0.005 m. The total time for 50 complete oscillations is 81.0 ± 1.0 s. Using these data, calculate (i) the local gravitational field strength g and (ii) the percentage uncertainty in the value of g.
