(b) A student walks from her house to the school along a straight road 600m long, then continues in the same straight line for another 200m to the stationery shop. She finally returns directly to the school. For the entire trip:
(i) Calculate the total distance travelled.
(ii) Determine the magnitude of the resultant displacement from her house.
(c) Explain why your answers to parts (b)(i) and (b)(ii) are different, even though both refer to the same journey.
