Problem

A concave mirror produces an image of an object placed along its principal axis. The mirror has a focal length of 15 cm15\,\text{cm} and the object height is 4.0 cm4.0\,\text{cm}. The object is kept 25 cm25\,\text{cm} in front of the mirror. Answer the following: (i) Calculate the distance of the image from the mirror. (ii) Determine the numerical value of the magnification. (iii) Find the height of the image and state clearly whether the image is real or virtual, erect or inverted. Illustrate the formation of the image with a labelled ray diagram.
