Problem

Three forces act concurrently on a body: F1\mathbf{F}_1 of magnitude 12 N12\,\text{N} along the positive x-axis, F2\mathbf{F}_2 of magnitude 8 N8\,\text{N} making 120∘120^\circ with the positive x-axis, and F3\mathbf{F}_3 of magnitude 5 N5\,\text{N} making 250∘250^\circ with the positive x-axis. (i) Write each force in unit-vector notation. (ii) Hence obtain the resultant force in unit-vector notation.
