Problem

Two concurrent forces act at a point with an angle of 120∘120^{\circ} between them. One force has magnitude 6 N6\,\text{N}, and their resultant has magnitude 10 N10\,\text{N}. (i) Formulate the mathematical relation that connects the unknown force BB, the known force, and the resultant. (ii) Calculate the magnitude of the unknown force BB. (iii) Find the angle that the resultant makes with the unknown force BB. (Retain two significant figures.)
