Problem

A periodic water wave travels from region B into region C. In region B the speed of the wave is 1.2 m/s1.2\,\text{m/s}. An observer in region B counts 20 wave crests passing by in 8.0 s8.0\,\text{s}. After crossing into region C, the speed of the wave increases to 2.0 m/s2.0\,\text{m/s}. Determine the wavelength of the wave in region C.
