Problem

The first term of an arithmetic progression is 44 and the common difference is 33. Its last term is 6464. (i) Form an equation to find the number of terms nn in the progression. (ii) Using the value of nn found in part (i), compute the sum of all the terms. (iii) If the sum obtained in part (ii) is changed to 750750 while keeping the first term and common difference the same, explain whether the last term would remain 6464. Justify your answer with calculations.
