Problem

A source emits monochromatic light of frequency 5.5×1014 Hz5.5\times10^{14}\,\text{Hz} at a rate of 0.1 W0.1\,\text{W}. Of the photons given out, 0.15%0.15\% fall on the cathode of a photocell which gives a current of 6 μA6\,\mu\text{A} in an external circuit. (1) Find the energy of a photon. (2) Find the number of photons leaving the source per second. (3) Find the percentage of the photons falling on the cathode which produce photoelectrons.
