Problem

The value of sec⁡θ\sec\theta is 135\dfrac{13}{5} and θ\theta lies in the fourth quadrant. (i) Find sin⁡θ\sin\theta, cos⁡θ\cos\theta and tan⁡θ\tan\theta. (ii) Using these values, compute sin⁡2θ\sin 2\theta and cos⁡2θ\cos 2\theta. (iii) Hence evaluate R=sin⁡2θ+cos⁡2θR = \sin 2\theta + \cos 2\theta expressing your answer in simplest rational form.
