Problem

A concrete wall 10 m10\,\text{m} wide lies directly between a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver picks up an FM radio signal with wavelength ≈3 m\approx 3\,\text{m} but does not register a green laser beam with wavelength ≈550 nm\approx 550\,\text{nm} sent along the same path. In 1–3 sentences, explain why the radio signal reaches the receiver whereas the laser light does not.
