Problem

A signal generator is set so that one complete cycle of the output takes 2.5×10−4 s2.5 \times 10^{-4}\,\text{s} to occur. Work out the following for this generator. (i) Express the given time period in milliseconds, writing your answer in scientific notation. (ii) Calculate the frequency of the signal in hertz. (iii) Determine the total number of complete cycles produced in 3.0 s.
