Problem

Consider the quadratic equation 6x2−19x+15=06x^{2}-19x+15=0. (i) Factorise 6x2−19x+156x^{2}-19x+15 into a product of two linear factors. (ii) Hence find the roots of the equation. (iii) Verify that the sum and the product of the roots satisfy −ba-\frac{b}{a} and ca\frac{c}{a} respectively for the quadratic ax2+bx+c=0ax^{2}+bx+c=0.
