Problem

During a laboratory session, the following unit assignments were written on the board: 1. P=V2RP=\dfrac{V^{2}}{R} (labelled with unit "volt") 2. E=P tE=P\,t (labelled with unit "watt") 3. R=VIR=\dfrac{V}{I} (labelled with unit "watt") (i) For each of the three cases, examine whether the unit written is dimensionally consistent with the quantity on the left-hand side. (ii) Wherever an inconsistency is found, write the correct SI unit and justify your answer through dimensional reasoning.
