(a) State the relation between the angle that a light ray makes with the surface of a plane mirror and the corresponding angle of incidence with respect to the normal.
(b) A ray of light is incident on a plane mirror such that it makes an angle of 37∘ with the mirror surface. Explain, with the help of a neat labelled sketch, how you would determine the angle of reflection.
(c) Justify mathematically that the angle between the incident ray and the reflected ray is twice the angle the incident ray makes with the mirror surface.
